Wine Cap / Garden Giant spawn - 250 grams

Bring your garden to life with the Wine Cap (Stropharia rugosoannulata), also known as king stropharia or the garden giant. This tasty mushroom is perfect for anyone who wants to grow their own mushrooms without too much fuss. Wine Caps simply grow outdoors, on a bed of wood chips or straw, and often give a harvest several years in a row.

The deep red, wine-coloured cap and thick white stem make this species not only an eye-catcher in your garden, but also a delicious addition in the kitchen. The flavour is mild, earthy and reminiscent of artichoke and young potato. Ideal for grilling, frying or adding to sauces and risotto.

✅ Suitable for outdoors
✅ Beginner-proof
✅ Can keep producing for several years
✅ Enough for about 2-3 m² of wood chip bed
