Which mushroom grows on hazel?
On hazel, shiitake grows best. Also a good choice: summer oyster, turkey tail, enoki and oyster mushroom. Not suitable: maitake, split gill and chicken of the woods. Hazel usually gives thin stems. Only use the thickest branches, from about 8 cm.
